What makes Luckley-Oakfield special?
On arrival at Open mornings, visitors often ask “What makes Luckley-Oakfield special?” By the time they have finished looking around the school, seen glimpses of lessons in action and talked to some of our staff and pupils, our visitors have discovered for themselves what makes Luckley-Oakfield so special.
One prospective parent at our recent Open Day registered her daughter there and then, saying “I have looked at a few other schools in the area that have had more glitz and glam, but when you scratch beneath the surface, they don’t have the heart of Luckley”. And that says it all; Luckley is a small, warm and welcoming school, with a big heart. Our strong Christian ethos radiates throughout the school; bringing traditional family values and morals to the forefront of everything we do.
Our girls thrive and really do achieve their full academic potential. Our small class sizes and tailored teaching programmes ensure that each girl is given the very best teaching and support that she needs to obtain the best grades that she possibly can.
Our results speak for themselves with 100% pass rate at A-Level in 2011, with 89% achieving A*/B grades. All of our Sixth Form leavers secured places at their chosen university. Our GCSE students also excelled, with 58% A*/A grades and all students achieving at least 5 GCSE A*-C including English and Mathematics.
Our school transport service brings many of our day girls in from across Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey and offers two end of day collection times to facilitate participation in extended day activities.
So what makes Luckley-Oakfield special? Come along to our Open Morning or arrange an individual visit and experience the “heart of Luckley” for yourself.
Prospective parents can either make an appointment to visit the school or can attend an Open Days on Wednesday 20h March 2012 or Wednesday 2nd May 9.30am – 12 noon.

Local causes supported in recent years include the Ascot Day Centre, Thames & Chiltern Air Ambulance, the North Ascot Community Association, Thames HospiceCare and Riding for the Disabled. We also support some individual requests for funding. We fund an education initiative in Nepal, Shelterboxes for international disaster areas, and have sent donations to support victims of UK flood disasters.
